In order to make my front cover more suitable for the genre of pop, I decided to take a selection of new images. My target audience said that originally my model looked more suited for a drum and bass genre, therefore my magazine came across as being quite confusing as there was a mix between two genres. To make it more suitable for pop, I changed the model and dressed him up in clothing that I would associate with pop boybands. I think these images relate to the genre of pop better and hopefully it will help my magazine appeal more to my target audience. The images above are ideas for my cover, contents and double page spread. I have varied the shots I have took and also used a variation of different clothing and poses. I will now choose my favourites and edit them, then see whether these images fit my magazine better.
